and I heart Kathryn, too!
We picked the strawberries from Bella Organic Farm on Sauvie Island today - in the pouring rain...wearing sundresses and tank-tops...and a sunhats, of course! Kathryn was so dedicated to the cause that she even had plastic-wrapped her casted wrist so she could pick in the rain...we found some beautiful berries, and just paid a little extra for the water we gathered in our buckets...for freshness, of course ;)
These berries are going to be perfect as a vinaigrette...was thinking lavender might not be so bad with it either...will be wandering the Madison - Hawthorne blocks to find a neighbor who might be willing to share...
